Owners, Janmeet & Mohinder welcome you to their small kitchen that treats you to their home-style ethnic cooking. The cooking recipes were originally handed down from their family and have received a twist of Fusion-Tadka without compromising the authenticity of dishes.
The owners are from Kashmir and have the influence of Kashmiri cuisine in their cooking style. They feel they can best be described as “Restaurateurs by Chance” as they chose food as a medium of sharing their culture with the community of Powell River when they relocated to Canada in 2009. As a part of the Main Street hub for food enthusiasts, they have kept the aromas of Indian cooking flowing from their small kitchen hood.
Their small menu is key to keeping and serving things fresh. The menu caters to Vegans, Vegetarians, and Meat Lovers alike. Owners take note of customers' food allergies to keep their dining experience pleasurable.
Being socially responsible owners try and source things locally, whenever possible, and support other local businesses and events as well.
A good selection of wines to pair with your food and a locally brewed beer are part of their evolving dine-In menu.
